Business Models, Letters to Santa Claus, and Lots of Laughter
This Wednesday, November 20th, the first bootcamp of the Ignition Program for Entrepreneurs and Youth Associations — Empreender@Braga — took place. Promoted by the Municipality of Braga, InvestBraga, Startup Braga, and the Youth Centre of Braga, the initiative will accompany the progress of 16 innovative projects until December.
During the event, led by Alexandre Mendes, Head of Ventures at Subvisual, it was proven that Business Models don’t have to be boring. The speaker challenged participants to write a letter to Santa Claus — with no limits, because reengineering is here for that.
The Business Model Canvas was a key part, but there were also plenty of shares, insights, and lots of laughter. In an attention economy, startups and youth associations demonstrated that it is possible to stay focused — a focus that will help them build projects with a future.
