Revolut, a company that is part of Startup Braga's corporate friends' list, announced this week that its Rewards platform is now available for customers in Portugal. With the Rewards, the more than 500 thousand national users will have access to special discounts and cashback offers with various brands that customers love. All they need to do is follow the indications of each offer and always opt for their Revolut card to pay for their purchases.

To start with, Revolut users in Portugal already have discounts available for more than thirty national and international brands, such as LEV, Lanidor, Dott, Nike, Farfetch, Samsung, Eleven Sports or Bolt. Revolut also made a point of including several emerging Portuguese brands, namely EatTasty, Barkyn, Urban Foods, DiVERGE Sneakers, ISTO., among others. The list of brands associated with the platform also includes Wonther, the startup brand with the same name, which has been incubated in Startup Braga since June 2020.

Revolut is now, through the "Rewards" feature, a partner of top brands in different categories, including Tourism and Travel, Food, Wellness, Shopping, and Entertainment. Customers do not have to pay any subscription to have access to this service, they just need to be Revolut users in Portugal.

There are two main types of Rewards available, discounts and cashback. Discounts typically guarantee immediate savings in the store of the partner in question, when paying through the Revolut card. Customers should access the retailer's website via the link provided in the Revolut app, enter the discount code provided and pay with their Revolut card. With the cashback option, customers making a purchase on the partner's website through the link provided will receive a percentage of the purchase amount they made, provided payment is made with the Revolut card and the offer is still active.

In this first launch phase of the Rewards program, there are direct discounts of up to 50% on items on sale, but also the offer of the first trip on transportation services or exclusive discounts on food services. Partners and offers will be progressively updated and have a limited duration. It is also recommended to analyze the Terms & Conditions of each offer.
