The ExpoBiotec '24 – Braga Biotechnology Week has been playing an essential role in promoting the transfer of knowledge generated at the University of Minho to the local economy. This event has been recognized as a vital driver in the development of biotechnology, an area considered one of the main assets of the city of Braga currently.

Renewing the commitment to the progress of biotechnology in the region, ExpoBiotec '24 promotes the economic development of Braga by attracting companies from the sector and supporting entrepreneurial projects.

This initiative is organized by the Department and the Center for Biological Engineering of the University of Minho and Startup Braga. ExpoBiotec '24 will take place at Forum Braga from May 20th to 25th.
